Join us in making a positive impact in our community.
At Long Live Tony Forever, we are dedicated to honoring the legacy of Tony and supporting causes he would be proud to lead. Our mission is to create positive change and inspire others to join our efforts for a better world. We want to bring awareness and knowledge of the impact of gun violence, homicide, and vehicular manslaughter to the people in our community
We believe in the power of community and the importance of working together to achieve our goals. At LongLiveTonyForever, we empower individuals and communities to create lasting change. We have a panel of survivors equipped and ready to speak at your schools, churches, outreaches and community events. We educate young people about the dangers and impact of gun violence, homicide and vehicular manslaughter. Each one of our panel members have experienced these tragedies first hand and know the importance of spreading awareness and knowledge about these issues. We believe teaching young people about these important issues and the impact it has on the lives of others and the community as a whole, is where change happens, before it's too late.
Over the past year, we have helped individuals in our community to see the importance of reaching our youth early to prevent these tragedies from happening. Starting early in their lives to connect them to resources and mentors to keep kids safe and off the streets.
Tony was a vibrant, funny, smart, passionate, loving and caring teen who loved his family deeply, loved playing football, and had passion to be a fire fighter to help save lives one day.
He had a bright future ahead of him with scholarship offers from colleges who wanted him to play foot ball for them. Tony was his little sisters protector and best friend. He had a deep rooted relationship with his big brother. He was the apple of his mothers eye. Tony loved so deeply and had a huge impact on his friends and family, as well as the community he lived in.
Tony was only 17 years old when he was senselessly shot and killed during a party. Tony selflessly stepped in to try and resolve a fight that did not involve him, stepping in front of another teen to protect him and try to deescalate the situation. Instead of walking away the aggressor decided to brutally shoot Tony in the chest and neck, then fled the scene.
The aggressor was two months shy of turning 18.
Such tragedy could have been prevented if the agressor had intervention services early in life. In honor of Tony, we are dedicating our lives to make changes NOW before more innocent lives are taken.
